The Roselle Park varsity bowling team is UCC – Mountain division conference champs after defeating Hillside on Feb. 7.
The Panthers are now 14-2 on the season and head to Jersey Lanes in Linden on Feb. 11 to compete in the state sectionals.
The varsity team consists of David Bromirski, Justin Llizo, Mia Luna, Ryan Marino, Michael Martins, Owen Miller, and Derek Wenskoski.
Roselle Park rattled off 12 consecutive wins to start the season before falling to Hillside on Jan. 26 and again on Feb. 2, but the Panthers avenged these losses with a 2,669-2,405 win over the Comets on Feb. 7.
Martins rolled a match-high set of 570. Bromirski had a 566 set with a high game of 212, and Miller scored a 560 set.
