Rain the day before and into the early morning hours of October 12 jeopardized the Dads Club Golf Outing this year but the sky cleared and 120 golfers swung through some high winds to put another successful event in the books.
The weather prompted the closure of the back nine at Galloping Hill Golf Course so the tournament moved to the front and side nine holes to get a full 18 in. And as the day progressed, the sun warmed the course and the good times rolled.
As always, it was great to see so many Parkers, new friends, and family. Thanks to all for your patience during the delayed start. Thanks to our volunteers for making the morning registration run so smooth, and to our photographer, RP’s Lisa Coppola.
Special thanks to our many sponsors and to those who donated items for our giveaways and tricky tray.
This is the Dads Club’s premier fundraising event. With your support, we continue to raise money for student scholarships and other purposes throughout the town to help RP’s youth. (click on the About Us tab to find out more)
Hope to see everyone – as well as some new faces – next year!
